This Week's Prompt is...
Friendship. This is a pretty vague prompt so I tried to fit in a mix of genre's and types of friendship to keep things interesting.
Girls Save The World in This One by Ash Parsons
June’s whole life has been leading up to this: ZombieCon, the fan convention celebrating all things zombies. She and her two best friends plan on hitting all the panels, photo ops, and meeting the heartthrob lead of their favorite zombie apocalypse show Human Wasteland.

A group of girls saving the world against a hungry horde of zombies at a fan convention? Sounds so fun and I just love the cover too.

I really like the sound of this contemporary that explores moving to a new town, building new friendships and exploring your identity.
Life of Pi by Yann Martel
After the sinking of a cargo ship, a solitary lifeboat remains bobbing on the wild blue Pacific. The only survivors from the wreck are a sixteen-year-old boy named Pi, a hyena, a wounded zebra, an orangutan—and a 450-pound royal bengal tiger.
All I know about this book is that there's a boy on a boat with a tiger so surely some kind of friendship emerges from this situation?

I can't tell you how many people I've heard talk about this book and how soul destroying it is. Therefore, of course I want to read it for myself. I'm just going to make sure I have plenty of tissues on hand!
