Top Ten Tuesday | Book Covers That Give Me Major Fall Vibes

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature that highlights ten books that all relate to a certain topic and is  hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This Weeks Topic Is...

Book Covers That Give Off Major Fall Vibes and I loved this prompt! I love any excuse to showcase book covers and my favourite ones. I basically just scrolled through Goodreads for half an hour going yep, that one gives me fall vibes, yep, that one gives me fall vibes... I hope some of these make you think of Fall and the Autumn months as well!

Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power

This one made me automatically think of fall when I saw it. The orange hues and the cornfield just scream Autumn to me and the contents of the book is meant to be really good for mystery fans as well.

Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell and Faith Erin Hicks

I mean, what is more fall than a pumpkin patch?? This has been on my To Buy list forever and I really regret not buying it to read this year because it just sounds so adorable and I think I'm really going to like this one.

Mayhem by Estelle Laure

I just love this cover, the contrast between the orange and the blue and just something about the illustration style just makes me think of fall.

Toil & Trouble by Tess Sharpe and Jessica Spotswood et al

I think it's pretty obvious why this one makes me think of fall! This anthology about witchcraft sounds so perfect for autumn and I think the cover demonstrates that perfectly.

All the Things We Do in the Dark by Saundra Mitchell

The purple, red and gold just scream fall and the image is especially spooky. I hadn't heard of this book but it's apparently for fans of Sadie by Courtney Summers so straight on my TBR it goes!

The Familiars by Stacey Halls

I do actually own this book and I freakin love this cover. It's no secret I love books with pretty illustrated covers and this one is definitely up there for me. The woodland images and the colours used all make think of when the leaves turn from green to orange and brown in Autumn.

The Deathless Girls by Kiran Millwood Hargrave

Another one I own and this has similar vibes to The Familiars with the woodland imagery and all the orange and brown. This is a book from the point of view of the brides of Dracula and I completely forgot I owned it cause now I'm annoyed at myself for not putting it on my October TBR but never mind, maybe November?

Otto Tattercoat and the Forest of Lost Things by Matilda Woods

I'm surprised I didn't put more middle grade on this list to be honest because normally they have such fun and autumnal covers but this definitely had to be on here. This cover looks so dreamy and fantastical, it reminds me of children's fairytales.

Mooncakes by Suzanne Walker and Wendy Xu

I'm actually reading this book for the Hocus Pocus Readathon and I love the witchiness and how cute this cover is. This book sounds perfect for fall and I'm sure the inside art is going to be incredible as well if the cover is anything to go by.

Resurrection Girls by Ava Morgyn

Lastly, we have this spooky looking book that I only discovered through my browsing. The story itself sounds intriguing but that cover is just chilling and is giving me major Halloween/creepy vibes AKA perfect for fall!

  3. I like book cover prompts because they're usually so much easier than the other TTT prompts! LOL. I tend to overthink my TTT posts, so it's nice to have a book cover break once in awhile :)

    Happy TTT!
