WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words that highlights three questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you'll read next?

What did you recently finish reading?

I finished Trick or Treat: A History of Halloween by Lisa Morton last night and this was a great, informative non-fiction book. It's incredibly well researched and has loads of detail about the holiday. It has different sections on how Halloween was started, traditions from different countries and it's impact on pop culture. If you have any interest in Halloween, I'd definitely urge you to pick up this book.

I'm just over halfway into A Pinch of Magic by Michelle Harrison and I'm really enjoying it so far. This is the first book in a magical middle grade series about three sisters who are trying to break an ancient family curse with the assistance of some magical objects. This has been really fun, I love the whimsical writing and the characters are super entertaining. The plot's picked up a lot now so I think I'm going to try and finish this one out today.

I am seriously slacking when it comes to Daja's Book by Tamora Pierce. I've still got eleven chapters to listen to between now and Saturday in order to finish it on time. I just haven't been in the mood to listen to my audiobook even though I do really like this series. I'm determined to listen to an hour or two today though.

What do you think you'll read next?

Yes, it's finally happening. I'm starting My Best Friend's Exorcism by Grady Hendrix later today and I can't wait! I've been so hyped for this book so I can't wait to get stuck into all the campy horror goodness.

1988. Charleston, South Carolina. High school sophomores Abby and Gretchen have been best friends since fourth grade. . But after an evening of skinny-dipping goes disastrously wrong, Gretchen begins to act… different. She’s moody. She’s irritable. And bizarre incidents keep happening whenever she’s nearby.

Abby’s investigation leads her to some startling discoveries - and by the time their story reaches its terrifying conclusion, the fate of Abby and Gretchen will be determined by a single question: Is their friendship powerful enough to beat the devil?
