I’ve had this blog for a year and yet I’ve only posted a handful
of times. It started off great, I was posting semi-regularly between September and
December but when the new year hit my blogging motivation seemed to cease to
exist. I just couldn’t get myself to open word or pick up my camera, I had zero
inspiration to write or take pictures and therefore I simply put it all to the
back of my mind.

June 2018 Book Haul
I appear to have acquired quite a few books during the month of June which will be added to my never ending TBR list and whilst I'm super excited to finally own some of these books who knows when I'll even get round to reading them. I definately need to start prioritising my reading choices but then I feel so guilty thinking about all those books I've owned for years and still haven't read. Don't worry, I will get to them eventually, it just might take a few years!

Recent Purchases #1
I’m one of those incredibly nosey people who love seeing
what other people have been buying and loving recently. I’m hoping these mini
haul posts will become a regular thing on the blog as they’re some of my
favourite posts to read. I’m going to apologise for my photo’s now though, I’m
still working my way around my camera. It also doesn’t help that my room at uni
only has one window which is directly in front of my bed so there’s only one
good spot to take pictures with natural light. Hopefully there’ll be an improvement
soon as I figure out where’s best to take pictures.

6 Shows I Wish Were On Netflix
Netflix UK have recently added Friends to their selection of TV and movies and I couldn't be more excited to binge watch it whilst neglecting all my school work. However, I saw a lot of people still requesting other shows to to be added such as The Office US. It got me thinking about some of the TV programmes that I'd love to be on Netflix so I could watch them to my hearts content. It's one of the only places I can freely watch what I want, unless I choose to stream it online (shh, don't tell) which can sometimes be a pain in the ass particularly trying to find sites that are fast and safe. I own a few boxsets but my new laptop doesn't have a CD-rom and I have no DVD player at university. So, I came up with 6 shows that i'd love to be on Netflix. Netflix, if you're reading this, do me a favour and add some of these for me! I'll be your best friend?

2018 Goals | Blogging and Personal
I've never been very good at sticking to resolutions. I tend to get very into the idea of making them, I do well for a few days and then slowly I just seem to give up. This usually happens within the first two weeks of January. But, since I've started blogging I know that I need to get my ass in gear and really drive myself into comitting to some very necessary changes in my life. I want to be able to physically write all of these down as well so I definately need a new planner/diary to help keep my life in order throughout the next year. Any recommendations? For now, these are some goals I hope to work on in 2018, both blogging and personal.

Film Review | Star Wars: The Last Jedi
So, I went to see my most anticipated film of the year last night, loved every second of it and wanted to share my thoughts on here. It was a bit of a rush getting to the cinema, not gonna lie. I took my younger brother who had his last day of school on the day and somehow I managed to book the tickets for half past 3 which made it a little tricky to get there on time. We ended up being nearly 20 minutes late but luckily for us we still had four minutes before the actual film started. We also had a lot of fun searching for our seats in the pitch black and having to repeatedly say sorry and thank you as we pushed past numerous people to get to them.

The Christmas Tag
This type of tag has been floating around the internet for years but this specific one is originally from milk bubble tea. I wasn't technically tagged by anyone but I wanted to be able to sit down and share some of my favourite things about Christmas and some of the traditions I have with my family and this tag is the perfect way to do it. So on with the questions...

Christmas Gift Guide | Furry Friends
Why should humans be the only ones that receive Christmas presents? Pets deserve something special or a little treat on Christmas morning too and the great thing about these gifts is that they won't break the bank either. Depending on how much you want to spend there's a variety of presents to choose from, from treats to toys there's bound to be something to match your budget that your furry friend will love.
