Top Ten Tuesday | Doorstop Books

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature that highlights ten books that all relate to a certain topic and is  hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This Weeks Topic Is...

Doorstop Books!

These are the most intimidating reads on my bookshelf, the ones that I know I'm going to have to set aside at least a few weeks to get through cause they are chunky. I really don't tend to reach for longer reads at the moment, my attention span just not allowing for it but these all have such high praise so hopefully one day they'll be read.

Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy

My edition's page count: 964

Under the Dome by Stephen King

My edition's page count: 1074

The Lies of Lock Lamora by Scott Lynch

My edition's page count: 752

The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton

My edition's page count: 834

The Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickins

My edition's page count: 864

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

My edition's page count: 864

Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke

My edition's page count: 1006

The Assassin's Cloak: An Anthology of the World's Greatest Diarists by Irene Taylor

My edition's page count: 698

Plain Bad Heroines by Emily M. Danforth

My edition's page count: 623

The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt

My edition's page count: 771

Have you read any of these or are any of them on your TBR? How long did it take you to read them? Leave a comment or link your own Top Ten Tuesday's for me to check out! Happy Reading!

  4. Plain Bad Heroines reads fast, it didn't feel as long as it is! Anna Karenina does feel long but it's sooooo good!

  6. Same! I just don't have a lot of patience for really chunky books these days. I read a few a year, but that's it usually.

    Happy TTT!
