Top Ten Tuesday | Books with Numbers in the Title

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature that highlights ten books that all relate to a certain topic and is  hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This Weeks Topic Is...

Books with Numbers in the Title! A fun little topic this week, I managed to get ten different numbers in there but man, there are a lot of books with the numbers 1, 10 and a thousand out there!

Two Can Keep a Secret by Karen M. McManus

I really liked this YA thriller, kept me entertained throughout with good pacing and intertwining POV's.

The Five: The Untold Lives of the Women Killed by Jack the Ripper by Hallie Rubenhold

An interesting and in depth look at the lives of the victims of Jack the Ripper. Rather then focusing on the actual murders/murderer we get a detailed but easy to read chapter that follows each of these women from their birth up until the night of their death. Highly recommend for non-fiction readers.

The Reader on the 6.27 by Jean-Paul Didierlaurent

A charming, romantic story about a man who reads aloud on the train each morning and the woman who he falls in love with after discovering her diary. Translated from French and just pure joy throughout, I adored this quirky little book.

The Seven ½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton

Such a fun mystery read that takes inspiration from Groundhog Day but makes it completely it's own. I was hooked from the first couple of pages of this book, my intrigue to discover who was behind this murder was sky high. An exciting debut and I can't wait to read his newest release.

10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston

Looking for a Christmassy YA romance that's chaotic in all the best ways? 10 Blind Dates is the answer! After a devastating break-up Sophie's family attempts to set her up on a blind date each day with one family member responsible for choosing the date. It's a ridiculous plot and yet it's so much festive fun.

Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel

One of my favourite reads of 2020! A post apocalyptic story that focuses on a group of characters and their journey through a wasteland that was once Canada. Beautifully written and captivating story of humanity.

The 13 Treasures by Michelle Harrison

An earlier middle grade series that I adored as a pre-teen from the author of the Pinch of Magic series. Fairy centric but with a fun mystery vibe, younger readers will really enjoy these fantasy books.

Another non-fiction, this time for those who are more interested in feminist history. This is a personal selection by the author of women who have helped to shape and influence the world throughout history. From Joan of Arc to Madonna, this was a great audiobook listen that introduce me to a number of female figures.

100 Days of Sunlight by Abbie Emmons

I wasn't a massive fan of this light romantic contemporary that follows the burgeoning romance between a temporarily blind girl and a boy who is a double leg amputee. It's a cute story about two disabled main characters that YA romance readers will enjoy but the writing just wasn't for me.

The Book of a Thousand Days by Shannon Hale

The only book on this list that I haven't actually read yet, this is a well loved fairy tale-esque story about a princess who escapes from her tower to find her kingdom in ruin. I've wanted to read this one for years but still haven't managed to get myself a copy! It will happen someday!

Which books with numbers were on your list this week? Have you read any of the ones on my list? Leave a comment or link your own Top Ten Tuesday's for me to check out! Happy Reading!
