I haven't got much to update on in terms of life stuff this week. I haven't been well at all for most of it and was eventually struck down by a bug on Thursday which meant I was sent home from work! Luckily, it didn't last too long and I'm feeling a lot better now.

I can't believe we're almost in April already as well. It feels like this year is flying so far and I'm excited for a bit of sunshine and slightly warmer weather. Last week we did get some sun so me and my brother went for a walk in a local park and then went and got ice cream and chips by the coast. It was the perfect weather for me cause it was warm but I wasn't sweaty and uncomfortable!

★ I'm just about dragging myself out of a two week reading slump thanks in part to reading F1 Insider by Ted Kravitz. I am firmly back in my F1 era and after starting two eBooks and just not gravitating to either of them I knew I needed something I knew I was gonna love. For someone who started watching F1 five years ago this was a great inside look into some highlights of the sport from the last 30 years.

★ I then started The Library of Fates by Margot Harrison and I'm really liking it so far. Two ex-Harvard students must locate a magical book in a race against time is the basic premise and I love that we're getting dual timelines between the present day and 1995, when the main characters were students.

★ My only cinema trip of the week was to see the new release of Project Hail Mary. I managed to finish the audiobook a few days before so the plot was still fresh in my mind but they did such a fantastic job! I really loved it, Ryan Gosling was perfect and the effects were gorgeous. 4.5/5

Heartbreak High is back for it's third and final season! I've only watched the first two eps so far but I'm enjoying it a lot more than season 2, I'm just sad it's the last season 😢

★ Of course, cause Formula 1 is back I was watching the latest series of Drive to Survive in between the races and just finished it up last night. The series is entertaining and I like getting the more inside look at the drivers but I did end up watching it in the background a lot...

So much good music has come out over the last week! I'm obsessed with the new Raye and FLO tracks as well as Naomi Scott's debut album, pure pop perfection!

I am gonna shut up about it now but I was in such a funk without an F1 race to watch every weekend. Although saying that we now have 4 weeks with no races, Miami and then another 3 week break so it's looking pretty bleak to be honest! It's not been an amazing start to the season as a Mclaren fan either (we won't talk about the double DNS in China). I'm just glad Lando won it last year, that's all I'll say!

Hope you've all had a fantastic week!
