I finished The Mother-in-Law by Sally Hepworth last night, and I think I quite enjoyed it? It definitely wasn't the type of thriller that I thought we were gonna get, this is more domestic fiction mixed with mystery but I still liked it. The characters were definitely interesting and I liked exploring the relationship between Lucy and Diana.

I started The Impossible Fortune (Thursday Murder Club #5) by Richard Osman on my kindle yesterday and I can't wait to be able to sit down properly and get into it. I love this series and I've been eagerly waiting for my library hold to come through!
For my next physical read I chose to go with some non-fiction that I picked up from the library. Shop Girl by Mary Portas is a memoir that chronicles Mary's childhood growing up in London in the 60's. I've only read a small chunk so far but I'm enjoying the reminiscences and the 60's is one of my favourite eras.

I'm trying to read at least 4 classics this year so I'm trying to do it quarterly which means I need to read one in March! I decided to go for Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll cause I love the film and I own the MinaLima edition which is visually stunning!
The story of Alice, an inquisitive heroine who falls through a rabbit hole and into a whimsical world, has captured the hearts of readers of all ages. Perhaps the most popular female character in English literature, Alice is accompanied on her journey of trials and tribulations by the frantic White Rabbit, the demented and terrifying Queen of Hearts, the intriguing Mad Hatter, and many other eccentric characters.
Have you read any of these? What were your thoughts? What are you currently reading and hoping to pick up next? Leave a comment or link your own WWW Wednesdays below for me to check out!
