Haven't done one of these in a while. In fact I've only posted one of these in the past, back in November, but I keep planning to do more and even get the books together and then the post doesn't get written. I'm doing some forward planning though and getting this post written and scheduled in April. June looks like it's going to be a bumper month for releases but for now let's look at what I'm excited about in May.

A Brave continuation written by Maggie Stiefvater? Yes, I absolutely want to read this. Brave is a criminally underrated Pixar film and this sounds like it could be super fun and action filled. Plus, that cover is stunning!
The Marvellers by Dhonielle Clayton

Eleven-year-old Ella Durand is the first Conjuror to attend the Arcanum Training Institute, where Marvellers from all around the world come together to practice their cultural arts like brewing Indian spice elixirs, practicing Caribbean steel drum hypnosis, and bartering with fussy Irish faeries. I find it so much harder to find out about new middle grade releases (and adult as well) then I do YA which is a shame cause I've been really enjoying reading middle grade books recently. Anyway, a global magic school in the sky, how could I not want to read this?? I'm sure it will get comparisons to that nostalgic magical book series of who's author we do not speak but I have no doubts that this will be just as fun and possibly even better...
The Agathas by Kathleen Glasgow & Liz Lawson

Small town disappearences with girls teaming up to investigate and taking pointers from Agatha Christie has me all kinds of excited.

I'm a little tired of Groundhog Day inspired media but then again I just finished Weather Girl by Rachel Lynn Solomon a few weeks ago and loved it so I'm eager to try some of her YA. Plus, I like the fact that this is a college set story and not HS.

YA thrillers/horror are very hit and miss granted but when it's described as I Know What You Did Last Summer meets The Haunting of Hill House, I'm gonna be intrigued.

I don't have much experience reading anthologies, something I want to rectify, and I really like the diversity of the authors and the fact that there's a story for each sign. Libra come through for me!!

This sounds all kinds of fun and adorable. LOVE the fact that they're working in a Dollywood style theme park, family feuds and I have a weakness for country music so...
