WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words that highlights three questions:

I finished This Lie Will Kill You by Chelsea Pitcher on Monday and unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of it. The premise had so much potential (revenge plot, creepy old mansion, muder mystery dinner) but the execution just wasn't there. None of the characters were anything other then boring, other then Parker but he was just downright annoying. The dialogue had me cringeing so much, teenagers just don't talk the way these ones did and by the end of the book I just didn't really care much anymore. I'm still on a mystery/thriller binge though so hopefully my next read is better.

Locke and Key by Joe Hill & Gabriel Rodriguez is my current audiobook read. I enjoyed the Netflix series so I was hoping I would like this even though it's an audio version of a graphic novel. This is a whole production though! I really feel like I'm listening to a professional tv show just without the visuals. The narrators are all great and the sound effects/sounds in the background all add to the atmosphere. It's been really dark so far but I'm liking it.
I also just started The Psychology of Time Travel by Kate Mascarenhas and even though I'm only 15% in, I'm already loving it. The plot is so original, time travel is a real thing (but only for the elite) and a future murder has taken place that is connected to the women behind the invention. Think 7 1⁄2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle meets Minority Report. I'm loving the writing and the characters so I'm just hoping the plot continues to impress.

I've been struggling to pick up a physical book so I'm hoping something light and romance focused like The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson will do the trick. I love Morgan Matson and this is the last book of hers that I need to read (that I own, don't have her newest release yet!).
Andie had it all planned out. When you are a politician’s daughter who’s pretty much raised yourself, you learn everything can be planned or spun, or both. Especially your future. Important internship? Check. Amazing friends? Check. Guys? Check (as long as we’re talking no more than three weeks).
But that was before the scandal. Before having to be in the same house with her dad. Before walking an insane number of dogs. That was before Clark and those few months that might change her whole life. Because here’s the thing—if everything’s planned out, you can never find the unexpected. And where’s the fun in that?
