Apparently the only time I have motivation to post on here nowadays is when I have time off! I'm currently off work for two weeks and I've been reading a ton and therefore blogging a bit too. It's been so nice just relaxing in the house, although I know it's going to be killer having to go back to work.

One of my co-workers is about to go off on maternity leave which means I'll be switching age groups in the nursery from toddlers to pre-school. I'm excited cause I love working with the pre-school, it's my preferred age group, but I'll also be going from having 5 key kids to around 18 😬 which is a bit daunting.

I've also just booked a holiday in May. I'm going to Paris for 5 days and I absolutely can't wait! Paris has been at the top of my travel bucket list for as long as I can remember so I can't believe I finally get to go! If you've been to Paris definitely hit me up with your recommendations!

★ I finished Me by Elton John in the early hours of the morning and absolutely loved it! So funny, Elton has really led a remarkable life and it was so interesting to see his insights into different events and public figures. An easy 5 stars.
I'm currently making my way through Horse by Geraldine Brooks. It was a bit slow to get going but as I reach the halfway mark, I think I'm fully invested now.

I'm watching Charmed for the first time and really enjoying it. I love 90's/early 2000s shows although the special effects are kinda funny to watch now... I'm almost done with the first season and I'm already obsessed with Leo and Piper 💕

I've literally only watched about 20 minutes of this show so far but the first two episodes of Masters of the Air was released on Friday and I'm getting stuck into it. I'm in a bit of a World War 2 obsession at the minute so this was released at the perfect time plus it's got one of my biggest celebrity crushes in it AKA Callum Turner!

I also did my first solo cinema trip on Thursday which made me feel very anxious but I'm glad I did it. I went to see Anyone but You and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it. It was a lot fun and made this rom-com fan pretty happy!

I don't know what it is about this song but I can't stop listening to it. I love the original Shakira song and they've made this version so fun. It's gone straight on my running playlist.

Let me know what you've been up to this week with a comment, whether it's reading, watching or just life, I'd love to know! Happy Reading!
