How to Kill a Rock Star by Tiffanie DeBartolo

From the title alone, I'd think this was another cringey YA romance but it's got some high praise so maybe I shouldn't be judging it from the title and cover alone.

I'm in a good place with my eating disorder at the minute so I'm trying to avoid triggers. I think this could be a future read but not sure yet.

Ok, so I'm like 75% sure I never finished The Hunger Games even though I owned it. I can remember picking it up but for the life of me, I can't remember finishing it. I'm gonna go back and read the whole series at some point but I don't feel like it's one that needs to stay on my TBR shelf.

The Difference Between You and Me by Madeleine George
Jesse cuts her own hair with a Swiss Army knife. She wears big green fisherman's boots. She's the founding (and only) member of NOLAW, the National Organization to Liberate All Weirdos. Emily wears sweaters with faux pearl buttons. She's vice president of the student council. She has a boyfriend.
These two girls have nothing in common, except the passionate "private time" they share every Tuesday afternoon. Jesse wishes their relationship could be out in the open, but Emily feels she has too much to lose. When they find themselves on opposite sides of a heated school conflict, they each have to decide what's more important: what you believe in, or the one you love?
With a lot of 'on the bad side' reviews, I think I could find a lot more queer romances that aren't as supposedly stereotypical as this one is.

Sounds like it could be a fun historical mystery.

You know I love anything told in mixed media plus the mystery aspect has me intrigued.

Not into paranormal romances anymore and also don't think I even have the first book on my TBR shelf now.

I own it and have been wanting to read it for years now.
