Rumplestiltskin retelling? I need to read this immediately.

I think I'm slighty more intrigued by Poison Study by this author so I think i'll give that a shot before moving on to this series.

Ok, so I don't fully understand what this book is about but mention witchcraft to me and I automatically want to read it...

Skinned (Cold Awakening #1) by Robin Wasserman
The Download was supposed to change the world. It was supposed to mean the end of aging, the end of death, the birth of a new humanity. But it wasn't supposed to happen to someone like Lia Kahn.
And it wasn't supposed to ruin her life.
Lia knows she should be grateful she didn't die in the accident. The Download saved her--but it also changed her, forever. She can deal with being a freak. She can deal with the fear in her parents' eyes and the way her boyfriend flinches at her touch. But she can't deal with what she knows, deep down, every time she forces herself to look in the mirror: She's not the same person she used to be.
Maybe she's not even a person at all.
I'm very particular with my sci-fi and i'm just not gripped by this synopsis.

I'm vaguely interested in this series but I'm not desperate to pick it up also I'm pretty sure this is the author that has said some offensive things on social media (correct me if i'm wrong though).

Lost It by Kristen Tracy
What would you do...I'm confused and not really interested that much, also the contents seems like it might be kinda dated now......if your best friend were plotting the annihilation of a small, furry neighborhood poodle? Or if your parents up and moved to an Outward Bound-type survival camp in the middle of the desert? How about if your grandmother bought you new bras and underwear -- and you actually thought they were a teensy bit, umm, sexy?
Most people would not react well.
Tess Whistle's junior year of high school is off to a fairly bizarre start. One might even say her life is spiraling out of control. But with her sense of humor firmly intact and her first real boyfriend on her arm, Tess is dealing with the ridiculous twists quite well, thankyouverymuch.
Just wait until her shoes explode.

I'm really looking to read more books written in verse and i'm interested to see how this topic is handled in a different writing format.
