Top Ten Tuesday | Books I Was Reading On This Day Over the Last Ten Years

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature that highlights ten books that all relate to a certain topic and is  hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This Weeks Topic Is...

Books I Was Reading On This Day Over the Last Ten Years. Haven't done a TTT in a while but I loved this prompt and loved going back through my Goodreads and seeing what I was reading at this time ten years ago.  Evidently I tend to gravitate towards YA contemporary in August which isn't a surprise as a seasonal reader.

2016: The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly

This was a fairytale-esque book that I remember liking but the plot has completely disappeared from memory.

2017: Noughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman

I still haven't continued this series but I remember liking the first book!

2018: The Unwritten Rule by Elizabeth Scott

I remember this being fine but the cheating was a bit icky.

2019: Save the Date by Morgan Matson

I'm actually re-reading my fave Morgan Matson, Amy & Roger's Epic Detour, right now so quite funny that 7 years ago I was also reading this author.

2020: Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo

I liked this series but didn't love, I much preferred the tv show to be honest.

2021: Wicked Little Deeds by Kat Ellis

I read this for a blog tour and really liked it, a fun YA.

2022: On Midnight Beach by Marie-Louise Fitzpatrick

This still remains one of my favourite YA books of all time, I loved this one and I read it during a heatwave.

2023: Dread Wood by Jennifer Killick

A fun middle-grade but don't read if you have a fear of spiders!

2024: My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton & Jodi Meadows

I was so disappointed when I read this book, I just didn't gel with the writing at all. The series was much better!

2025: Something in the Walls by Daisy Pearce

I remember enjoying this historical horror set in a small English town, it was creepy and atmospheric.

Have you read any of these or are any of them on your TBR? What books were you reading ten years ago? Leave a comment or link your own Top Ten Tuesday's for me to check out! Happy Reading!
