I could have added so many more books to this post but it would have been a mile long so I had to settle with these 24 books! Hot Wax, The Maiden and Her Monster, No Rest for the Wicked, One of Us & The Impossible Fortune are my most anticipated.

A non-bookish freebie so I chose to highlight some of my favourite comfort films which is basically made up of a load of rom-coms. Some honourable mentions that just didn't quite make it on the list are Bend it Like Beckham, She's the Man, Hocus Pocus, Hairspray & A Cinderella Story.

Doorstop Books!

These are the most intimidating reads on my bookshelf, the ones that I know I'm going to have to set aside at least a few weeks to get through cause they are chunky. I really don't tend to reach for longer reads at the moment, my attention span just not allowing for it but these all have such high praise so hopefully one day they'll be read.

July Reading Wrap Up 2025

This is a super late wrap up but I just felt like writing a post cause I've been going through some of my old blog posts and I just find it interesting reading my thoughts on books I've read. While I'm writing this, it's been a super slumpy couple of months. June, July and August haven't been great for my reading and I'm struggling to get into anything at the moment so I just about managed 6 books last month. The plus side is that nothing I've been reading has been less then a 3 star so at least there's that.
